I enjoyed building the Monogram model of the F4B-4 so much I dug around and found this copy of the USAAC version of the same plane produced by Matchbox. Nice! Built that one myself a few years back. Despite the flack they get from modellers I miss the old Matchbox kits. Easy to build, look the part and perfect for gamers.

I agree! Rock-solid models that are easy to assemble and look the part when finished, I'm building wargaming toys, not competition models.
