8X4 size gaming mats?
« on: 14 October 2024, 01:02:55 PM »
I’m looking for a company that produces 8 foot by 4 foot gaming mats?
In the higher quality ‘mouse mat’ style.

Any ideas?
I’ve used Deepcut Studios in the past, but they are not currently replying to my emails?

Preferably in the UK.

Thanks

Tim, not in the UK but Cigar Box Battle Store has 80"x180" mats:

I have one of their 6'x4' fleece mats and it's really nice...guess it could be used as a blanket too!!!  I've washed mine once and it came out without any damage/fading.

I've had email contact with DeepCut just last week, and every exchange they replied within the day. So they're probably just busy?

I've also emailed Deep Cut in the past about stuff and never received a reply, so not sure how ...responsive they are.  Cigar Box and Geek Villain make the "6x4+" which are maybe 4-6" bigger on each dimension, but even for my 6x5 space I end up using two mats to cover it...which sucks.  lol

Element Games and Wayland both stock DeepCut mats (although they don't always make them easy to find).

They're both out of the one I'm looking for just now, but worth checking. Both generally have them at a discount, and no annoying import duties.

Frontline Gaming in the US does up to 8'x4' neoprene.  Free shipping overseas for orders of $300+.  Also free in the US for $100+.  And the 8x4s are conveniently priced at $99.95...

It may be coincidence, but I’ve just had a reply from Deepcut!

I’ve always had great comms from Deep Cut and have had bespoke sized mats from them (though cloth not neoprene).

Wayland on the other hand (which was autocorrect to waylaid - strangely appropriate)
