I have not been a regular attender at the LAF so if this is posted in the wrong area please feel free to correct me.
I have generally been a painter more than a gamer and used to post on Steve Deans Painter Forum before its demise but some years ago work exploded and I basically gave up painting in order to continue. Last Christmas one of my brothers in law gave me some Brigade Games Chosen Men figures, which I seem to remember were sculpted by Paul Hicks. By coincidence I happened to see a couple of old Sharpe TV shows. I have now retired and decided to pick up a brush again.
The photos show up so many errors that I am a bit disappointed with the results close up, but I realise that it would be unrealistic to expect a high standard after so many years of not painting at all. I have begun to note how many techniques with photoshop I have forgotten also, and my IT skills could only charitably be described as "limited" to start with!
At least I have begun to dust off the painting desk and look through the lead and plastic mountain. I am considerably slower than I was but some painting is more progress than no painting. I would appreciate any constructive criticism offered.
