The other drawback to Old Glory is that their figures are, for the most part, best described as 'vaguely anthropomorphic'.

Best off with Brigade Games, despite the cost.

The only thing is how to get Olives on the hats.... I have had ideas. I have a moulding tool that melts in boiling water and I can create moulds for the olive branches. I just need to find a small Olive branch! I wonder if there is a Roman mini somewhere where I can get a copy. Or if there is an STL file for that.

Scouts Out has a limited number of STL files available for A-H infantry, including Bosniaks.

Wee Wolf miniatures make Austrians for WWI. Unfortunately, they are another
U.S. company. They are not bad figures.

Unfortunately Renegade Miniatures are no longer with us but an even better range is to be found at Brigade Games:

https://www.brigadegames.com/ww1_great_war_italian_front

Brigade Games' Range is definitely odd, to say the least, but most importantly would technically not be suitable for early war as OP requested since most of their packs have at least some soldiers in the new M1916 tunic with stand-and-fall collar. This, however, is of course a nitpick and minor issue compared to the lack of helmets for a range presumably focused on the Italian Front. The Italian side isn't much better, who, despite having begun issuing them before the Austrians and having greater access to them, also lack helmets except with the strange "Arditi" pack wearing Lipmann visors as well. Even more confusing is the choice to represent Farina-clad sappers but not Bersaglieri, the Villar Perosa, or Arditi without experimental helmet attachments.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I like the 3D resin print files. Is there a resin glue you can use?

Superglue works great - I have a friend who 3D prints sometimes for me, and with various resins, never had a problem.

Most commercial superglues will bond resin. If you want to make, doubly, triply, sure try ZAP.

Right so I have purchased the STL files from Wargamming 3D. I got the Bosnian Patrol and the 40 odd figs of Austro Hungarians. Next thing is, does anyone have any reccomendations on where to get them printed? Than I am after an STL file for heads and backpacks. How easy it it to make a STL file for Bosnian heads for example?
