Some more models done.

Two more units as well as a character done. The Dwarf Spears are from the Northstar Dwarf Infantry box. I somehow didn't make a banner bearer for the unit so that will have to wait until I get another box of them. I like these a bit more than the Heavy Infantry models. Not sure why. They painted up quickly.

The Revenant Warriors are the resin Max Mini models. These were a bit rushed. I suspect that I could put a wash on them to help unify the colours. They have a lot of fussy detail on them (for me at least) and I didn't really enjoy painting them.

Finally is the Undead General on "horse". I wanted to make it look as if the horses head had rotted.

Next up are the Goblin Slaves.

You certainly achieved the objective with the horse! That thing looks properly foul :D
Dwarves look good too! Still loving the purple and yellow shields, they add a lot of pop to the unit.

Thanks. It did come out quite nice. Oddly the colours look a bit muted in the photo. It really pops on the table. This photography thing is trickier than I thought.

I just wanted a simple pattern to put on them to make them look uniform. I may go back and repaint the shields on the other Dwarves with shields to make them match as I actually quite like it. Rick pointed me to some generic transfers from Veni Vidi Vici that I may use on some of the Elf shields if I get around to redoing those.

Lovely work! Oathmark armies do have a lot of charm.

I like that the game is more about tactics than who has brought the biggest monster or character. Also that characters are still important but not overpowering.

Very nice units shown here! And yes, the head of the undead horse looks rotten, well done.

Nice job! I really like the look of that dwarf spear unit. You seem to have gotten a lot of action into the posing of the multi-part kit. Keep posting!

Thanks. Any decent posing is quite accidental. :-) Even after all of these years I still really can't pose multi-part minis very well.

New models done!

Two units of Slave Goblins. One 10 Goblin unit with hand weapons and a 15 Goblin unit with slings

I used the photo editing tools in the Apple Photos app and it did a pretty decent job of cleaning these up. I was quite impressed. The tools in the iOS versions of the app are total crap but the desktop version is quite useful.

These are the Northstar Figures plastic Goblin Slaves. I actually have 16 painted up. I appear to have lost four goblin models. I don't know where the heck they are. I originally purchased them to add to my daughter's Skaven force. These are a lot cheaper than GW Skaven Slaves. And look a lot better :-)

These went together quite well and painted up easily. I really quite like the faces. So far these have been the Oathmark plastics I have liked the most. With the Dwarf infantry a close second.

These look great! And good to hear they go together easily, I've been considering the goblins for a little while :D
How many options do the sprues come with?

I have some in the painting queue. The options are pretty much what you see in pixelgeek’s images - hand weapons or slings. Each sprue has enough to equip all 5 with either option. There’s also a pole and skull on each sprue for making a standard bearer. There are 10 heads, so lots of options to avoid too much duplication within units. I think there is only one shield per sprue, for a slave driver or other officer. If you have the original goblins some parts could be used- the main thing is to avoid arms that have mail sleeves as none of the bodies on the slave sprues are wearing armour. (Or use arms with mail and carve off the details - or do a wrist cut to get the weapon you want and graft the hand and weapon onto a slave arm. The beauty of Oathmark kits is the sheer number of spare parts and how simple it is to convert hard plastic!)

Awesome thread, I love the whole project planning and execution so far, looking good! Also I miss the Sentry Box, that is one of the best things about Cowtown.

I'm looking forward to seeing more progress!

AFAIK all of the Oathmark plastic set product pages have photos of the front and back of the sprues. You can see the Goblin Slave sprue here
