Looking good! I especially like the approach on the Heavy Elf Infantry.

Thanks

I am still having issues with the Bright Silver Speedpaint. It ends up looking washed out. The other metallic is fine though

A list of some of the things I would love to see in the next version of Oathmark. TLDR; more options for using some of the fun North Star metal and plastic fantasy minis

I have not looked deeply into Oathmark yet, but I bought all the rulebooks a month ago and read through them. It's a bit discouraging to engage more with the ruleset when I read that there might be soon a second edition coming out. Still, from the reading a bit through the rules and thinking through I agree at parts with the points from your blog post. I don't think I will ever use the kingdom/campaign system except for list building. It's simply the reason that it's more difficult to find gaming partner for a whole campaign than for one or two games.

On a side note: I just noticed that your avatar is from the game-icons website, liking that too  :D

Most of the people I know that play do so using the rules and the army lists for one-off games. The only time I see people doing campaign games are on YouTube channels. And even the Ash & Stone channel seems to use their own variant of the campaign rules.
