Yeah - nice gas station.  A gas station is on my "To Do" list...

Thank you very much CapnJim!

Yes, a petrol station is a MUST!  lol

I now also have a trailer park to put together and my eye on a plasticville diner kit...

With a rare Saturday at mostly my disposal, I spent most of the day finishing off a few things for the project.

I bought the Bachmann O scale Trailer Park plastic kit. Works very well with 28mm and once repainted, a very nice addition to the gaming table. Reasonably priced at £21. The first picture is what the kit looks like right out of the box, later on my repsprayed kit.

I received some pouches, knives, grenades, rifles, sword, axes (had to cut the hands off those) and even a carrier pigeon lol, mostly Bolt Action US Paratrooper bits, from the bits box of one of the members at my gaming club. I gave them some quick paints and with a glob of blu tack, I now have a very easy way of achieving "modular" gaming  lol. It looks like the sling to the rifle is broken, but I think it's just funny camera angles.

Cheers Mike!

Indeed! Because I have limited time for the hobby, I try to make the most of it when I can. Which means, I actually "plan" ahead in the manner that, "next time I will get X done" and the importance is that I stick to that. Better getting a productive hour or two, or as in this case, a very rare half a day than willy-nilly bits here and there without actually nothing being done  :(.

It also helped that both dispatch and delivery were done within 2 days of ordering  :).

And having found that these Bachmann O gauge kits looks nice with my miniatures, I now have an eye on one or two others...

Indeed Sir!

I take a personal pleasure out of my progress. Stuff is being done, with a clear gaming purpose in sight and the time frame is holding! Probably as good as I have ever done in the hobby! On more occasions than I care to remember, I have been biting off more than I can chew, gaming plans coming to nought, projects stalling because of lack of enthusiasm etc. This time I aim to see it all through!

Many thanks for your comment CapnJim!

So, I needed some more diverse vehicles besides cars. A gentleman gave me a tip on a very reasonably priced 1/48 plastic kit containing a police helicopter and a police motorcycle.

I have put the motorcycle together and will do the helicopter soon. I aim to put them together, spray and paint the parts and putting the glass parts on last before final assembly. This is actually my first attempt in 40 years to put a proper model kit together  :o. Fingers crossed.

Motorcycle pictured with a Mantic All Out War Walking Dead Mini (heroic 28mm).

Are you gonna use the bike alone, or the cop too?

In the first place, I was looking for a motorcycle, as different vehicles can be procured by the survivors and used in the games. I will most likely paint it all up, motorcycle, cop, helicopter and the crew and use them as "casualties" on the table. It would seem daft to get all this stuff in the kit and only use the motorcycle  :). :)

Anvil industries make very nice stuff, but I stick with this for the moment.

Do the EM-4 cast rider and bike separately? I've only seen them as whole units.
