Thank you very much CapnJim. I personally have no experience of such institutions,  bar a school trip to the equivalent of the county police station many moons ago.

I think you seem to get lots of useful stuff on the sprue. Only thing I lacked was a spare revolver or two.

Thanks for the tip sir, but I think I have more than I really need at the moment. I try to finish up what I bought for the setting in the first place before adding more. Might do something in the future.

Regards,

Legionnaire.

As to your first point, unfortunately, I do...(Edit:...know what a lock-up looks like, from the inside).  A loooooooong time ago...

The guns, backpacks and pouched have had some paint slapped on them today.  Varnish tomorrow.

In hindsight,  I probably would've been much better off painting most of them still on the sprue. Cutting them out and trying to keep those tiny bits in place with blue tack for painting was not the smoothest operation...

Anyways, they?ll do.

Yeah - painting those on the sprue is the way to go.  You can just touch 'em up once you clip 'em from the sprue... ;)

I chalk that one down to: "learn from your mistakes"  lol.

DONE!

When I started my zombie apocalypse back in December, I bought some stuff. ALL that has now been assembled and painted  :o. Below is my collection so far. There will be an add or two of course, but the important thing is I have now accomplished what I aimed to do before end of April, so all good!  :)

My buildings. All are TT Combat MDF kits.

Assorted vehicles. Some are probably 1/35 but I'm not that bothered. They'll do for a start.

Trailer park. Plasticville USA kit.

Zombies! All are Mantic Games All Out War Walking Dead.

Survivors. The ones in the front are my community in my County Roads Z solo campaign. All but one are Mantic Games All Out War Walking Dead.

Probably THE scenery for modern 28mm gaming. A true must have  :D.

Conversion bits. A plethora of guns, rifles, bags, pouches etc to add to a mini with simple blue tack modular system.

The final three survivors! Painted this morning. Also Mantic Games All Out War Walking Dead.

All you guys in this subforum are knocking it out of the park.

Love this stuff you've got together, ignore supposed scale,  if they look good they are good.

Legionnaire, congratulations on achieving your goals - they all look great. Of course, I?m sure you realise that as soon as a gamer achieves the completion of a project, he loses interest and moves onto the next project :D :D :D

I seem to have found this at the exact right moment ... ready for some AARs, now!  ;)

I absolutely love this project, and admire your stamina to see it through; my butterfly syndrome always makes me flutter from subject to subject  lol

Thank you very much Spinal Tap! As it's a solo game I'm much more forgiving to myself.

Mr Doug, sir! Thank you very much for the congratulations, very kind of you. I am 100% in agreement with your thoughts. I will carry on my solo campaign until Turn 10 as originally intended and reassess.

IF you haven't already seen it, my next project, blaming in equal parts yourself and Sakuragi miniatures for leading me astray, a dive into Pulp Alley. The first miniatures are ordered..

Mange takk!  ;)

We all struggle with that "oh shiny!" problem. But for once, I set myself an achievable time frame and didn't buy too much stuff.

I have a few Renedra tents coming and maybe another bit or two, but those are extra bonus bits so not too worried if they don't get done in the next month.

The thread of my solo campaign, using County Roads Z rules, can be found here : https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=148270.105

I thought I was done. But when a gentleman at the club said: "you can have THIS for ?30" I thought it was too good an offer to pass up on!

MDF 28mm Walking Dead RV

MDF Warlord Games Project Z Compound (helicopter pad and a water tank included).

I am weak  lol.

It would have been very rude not to?..!

Great purchase - look forward to seeing it all finished (particularly the Motorhome/RV).

Indeed sir!

I hope to get these bits done next week when I have a couple of days off actually. Even though I like to spray my bits individually, I'm sure it still will be fine.

With a proper helipad, I now HAVE to finish that helicopter! Maybe I'm luckier with the transfers this time...

Legionnaire.
