I've found Harmony
« on: February 02, 2025, 04:07:50 PM »
It didn't take me overly long, but it was a head scratcher to word it right to get the cool 28mm mini I wanted for my teacher with bow for County Road Z.

Harmony Watkins. S1, D3, I0 CO2

Heavy weapon, Teaching, Archery

Teacher of mathematics at high school. Archery novice (Bow), Blunt weapon (Rounders bat)

I diced for everything, even the sex of the starting party.
I rolled a dice for each statistic in turn and the highest was a 3 then two then one.
I diced for skills, re-rolling sixes (there are five skills to each statistic)
I rolled for the sex of the members ending with two males and one female.

Finally, I found the figure in murrysminis on etsy and this is what I am getting:-
Really looking forward to painting them and having additional figures to my collection.

glad you found what you were looking for. They are from the Wargames Factory/Warlord Games female survivors set. It is still available, so hopefully you didn't pay too much.

In the good old days I would have suggested Hasslefree, as they have bow armed survivors. However, these days, not so much :(

I have County Road Z in the todo list, one of these days...

I didn't notice that they are actually painted! So I think the price is fair. It is actually a bonus if they look like that. I can use them immediately!

In his 'about' he says they are old figures that his parents put them away years ago and he only retrieved them recently. He is working his way through them, painting to what looks a good standard.

Excellent stuff!

I too am going to play County Roads Z soon, and I have had problems getting the lady with bow that I ordered from Hasslefree, seems Royal Mail has lost it and I believe the gentleman is unwell so won't hold it against him.

I have now bought the Warlord Project Z female survivors. My only gripe is that it seems only certain poses will work with certain armaments. The bow and arrow female, as I understand it, will only work with one particular body pose. But better than nothing.
The most important thing in the hobby is that you're having FUN! Doesn't matter if you win or lose.

Yeah, the Project Z figures are a bit of an oddity - if you take one body then (with the additions from the appropriate weapons sprue) there are maybe 2-3 options available, plus options to convert. It isn't a true multi-pose sprue as such but, once you get past this, the figures look better (more natural posing) than other multi-pose sets. That being said, it's an experiment that Wargames Atlantic haven't repeated.
