What I painted in February 2025
« on: February 03, 2025, 02:19:05 PM »
Over the past week, I’ve been on a bit of a Star Wars painting spree, finally getting these done at the weekend - so just creeping in February.

Love the Star Wars stuff...!

I finished up a couple Miniature Building Authority buildings.

The first one is the 28mm resin Souk Minimall

The tile floors are my touch -- images found on the internet, modified and resized, and then printed off for the floors. Here's the back -- lots of nice detail:

Next is a shipping container converted into a building called the "Container House: Contractor's Office" on MBA's website:

And because I can't leave well enough alone, I had to add some printed off signs to show its bad neighborhood feel...  lol

For more discussion on the builidngs and lots more pics, check out my Lead Legionaries blog on them, here:

Beautifly done! I especially love the Star Wars figures! Who makes the Ithorians?

They were originally scaled for Star Wars: Legion, however I had them resized to 28mm and 3D printed by PhalanxPrintingUK.

Never ceases to amaze me the depth of skill and interest these threads display.

So many genres, so many different (yet equally wonderful) painting styles.

Characters from the History Channel's Vikings series (2013). These are 28mm metal from Brigade Games ().

From left to right, Floki the shipbuilder, Ragnar's brother Rollo, Ragnar Lothbrok, his wife Lagertha, son Björn Ironside

I did a lot of Google Image searches for stills from the series. I took some liberties so they wouldn't all be blobs of brown...  lol

The movie star himself, Ragnar, with his tattooed head. For more photos and discussion how I did each of the five, check out the entry on my Lead Legionaries blog:
