Ah yes, but the Northlander warchiefs already have that option, as well as a bear rider. Needs to be something a little different, I feel.

they have 1 elk... the Irish Elk wasn't rare, they've found hundreds of them, so a cavalry unit of them would fit and be different to horses.

Muskox cavalry would be fitting for the ice tribes.

Regarding characters, I was going to suggest wailing women as a nod to Mark?s iconic 28mm ancient Germans for Foundry. However, as both sexes fight in your range, wailing non-combatants would be more appropriate. The idea of the wailing, apparently, was to encourage the fighters to do better in order to avoid all sorts of unpleasantness befalling the wailers.

I love them. So gritty and prehistoric. Now we need prehistoric Celts and some Fantasy-esque Romans…

Totally agree with above!!
Fantasy Romans as we were promised please.
I imagine muscular naked chaps with Red cloaks, Roman helmets and swords/shields.
Or did I just dream that?

Looking forward to seeing what you do with the Savage command!

Fantasy Romans are in the works, though I imagine everyone will have a different idea of how that looks!

Currently working on bog-bodies / white walker / zombies to go against the Savages (or be summoned by them...)

Really? Those are your Romans? I think you might have seen them in '300' and they were fantasy Spartans, but still it's your fantasy so you go for it, girl!  lol

They turned out very nicely indeed. I especially like the banners - simple, yet very effective.

I really love how the savages blend into the “old range” - my only experience with the HB range so far (1 pack of shieldmaiden w/sword/axe) was that the sculpts were amazing (maybe not the horned helms so much lol ) but the swords seemed a tiny bit too fine (whilst they looked great) meaning a few of the pack had swords that were s-bent or squashed to a point that they were very hard to correct and leave a robust (as possible for the size) mini. I think I may have just got a duff pack that slipped through quality control. I intend to remove the damaged swords and replace with wire spears if it’s possible.

I’m really interested in the future releases as between HB and Wiglaf I finally have more of a use for the Copplestone chaps I bought to play ‘mini Conan’ with Thud & Blunder (whilst hoping the original range would get extended). I’m looking forward to the romans, maybe not the 300 type  :D  I hope they’re more “Robert E Howard” than “Hollywood hunks”!  lol

Thankyou for supporting the project!

The swords were a bit thin once cast up, but something I'm looking to correct on future sword packs.
