Hopefully before the Uni Semester starts up again I can get some headway done on my GASLIGHT Middle East Army. Currently I have three units in various stages of completion and a couple of personalties.

Arab Militia with Rifles
Mutawa (Morality Police) with Rifles and Respirators
Conjurer and Djinn
Pince (of Persia) Dastan
El Laurence (VSF Version)

Also have a Quartermain and Mina Harker awaiting the rest of the League before tackling some Martians and nefarious Chinamen.

Well, for me it will be expanding the Japanese with more troops, cav, neffs, transports, walkers, suits etc. And then I'd like to do Italians, the only reson being is that I really like the cross-battery ironclads like the 'Andrea Doria' . Starting some krooty-martian types will be on the cards and then finishing off the neff docking station and some other buildings to go with it  :D

Build/paint some more of my British VSF colonial force
Infantry - Only have the naval detachment so far.
Black watch squad to finish painting
Marines/normal Infantry squad to paint

Vehicles - Couple of bits and piece to finish off my Nef, mainly painting.
Build a steam tank from the Atlantis toy I bought for that purpose.

I have a load of British Victorian characters, and more coming for Xmas that I want to paint for various VSF games, both wargames and RPG’s

Build/paint some more of my Chinese VSF force.
Infantry - Finish painting the four squads I have started.
Vehicles – Build another steam tank

Same as the British - I have Chinese Victorian characters, and more coming for Xmas that I want to paint for various VSF games, both wargames and RPG’s

Scenery – I want some buildings to use for urban areas (just like svennn’s factory :o) during the Victorian era.
I also want to build some colonial type buildings that can be used both for games set on earth and Venus. I have stated one of these already but got distracted by the build something contest.

I have an idea for a small VSF campaign set in Scotland that I will need to build the scenery for.
I will need some home service troops for this idea as well. I also have a Queen Victoria (Gaud Bless Ur) figure to paint up for this game. Thanks Malamute :D

As mentioned in another thread I am intending to run a VSF RPG game next year using Savage worlds rules, so I have some work to do for that. I am also waiting on the Space 1889 supplement for SW that was due out this year but has been delayed :(

Exciting plans there chaps! Should keep this board busy next year.

As for me, I'm going to finish off the VSF industrial scenery (with help from Svennn) and start putting it to use. I've got two more building to put together and it should be done.

I'm gradually building up a sewage system too but that'll probaby take me all year to put together.

After the success of the game Dewbakuk and I ran at BLAM I'll be using the rules to run some adventure based VSF games, funnily enough based on the industrial scenery.

Malamute and I are planning a fun game for the new year, I wont give too much away just yet but I wonder what the Victorian version of "Self Preservation Society" will sound like?  ;)

Looking forward to seeing how Gamer Mac's RPG idea pans out, been thinking of something like that for a while.

Then there's the move to Canada (is this the year!). Big house, much basement, my den!

Good luck with the plans chaps! Will be interesting to visit this thread next year and see how we did.  :)
Don't!

Don't worry Colin, we are best rid of him.
I pity the poor Canadians who are going to have to put up with him. ;)

Maybe the other bloke from Shropshire will agree to drive you?

Plans for 2010... finish some of my Atlantean scenery and get more adventurer types. I've found a new group of gamers so I'm hoping to persuade some to take up VSF. Oh, and paint more, always paint more.

I heard that, in a fit of pique, the other fellow from Shropshire was moving to Ton-Y-Penty to join the local VSF Morris dancing society.

We'll be prepared. The liquor stores are putting in extra security and we are hiding the women.  ;)

I'm planning to bulk up my 28mm forces, and build a couple of new armies for Land Ironclads. Then, perhaps, some 28mm Italians to face off against my French/British in Africa.
Who knows? I may even manage to do some of the above!

Ah, plans for next year. Let's see...  ???

1/. I hope to get my 28mm Daftest Africa collection over to this side of the Pond at last.

2/. Build a small squadron of steam landships for above, comprising at least one each British, German, Belgian and maybe American and French.

3/. Build an Space:1889 Aphid class aerial gunboat and a opponent (type and nationality - if any - to be decided).

Enough to be going on with for a while.

We're also all moving house so he'll never find us!!

Oh wait, he's coming over with a ton of my lead, and Dairy Milk chocolate from 'the old country' - so please disregard my last remark!!

Fear not, my uncle has a spare Reliant Robin. We can cruise the streets of West London in style.  :)
