Large 28mm Cavalry Battle in the Peninsular
« on: April 29, 2025, 10:49:30 AM »
Morning All, last night we fought a rather large fictitious Napoleonic Cavalry Battle in the Peninsular - with almost 600 horse on the table it looked rather epic - lots of pics on the blog here https://shedwars.blogspot.com/2025/04/large-napoleonic-cavalry-battle-28mm.html

Hope this is of interest....

Looks like epic fun, a bit of wargamers' meglamania and why not?

We sometimes play 15mm War of 1812 with everything we have, so battles are far bigger than in real life, just because we want to see all the variety of troops on the table.

Looks fantastic! Happy to hear that the French won, my own collection hasn't won a battle for quite some time lol

Awesome battle. What rule set did you use?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.
