issues with sticking 3D printed turrets

I'm   new to 3D printed stuff, .my first models are from free on line files that a friend of mine rescaled in 1/72 and printed for me..such as this soviet BMP 1..they are simple  models, originally conceived to be printed in smaller scale than my choosed one;  so, the final result is quite rough..but cause  i'm not choosy and they are free,  they are perfectly fine for me..
the only issue is that AFV turrets are without any pins to stick to the hull which, in turn  is not provided  with any hole and, furthmore,the interior  is totally empty and difficult to reach (is mot a kit)..Obviously i would like to have my turrets rotating which , for me , is a nice asset ,during skirmish games.
on the web, i only did find suggestions refered to how to stick  turrets belonging to smaller scale metal tanks..such as using wax from a toilet bowl wax ring (possibly clean, i suppose  ) , blue tac or even magnetes..but my models  are bigger and i'll also plan to provide some  turrets with commander figures and  MGs so, maybe, they aren't the right solutions...
At the end, if ill not be able to find a feasable and easy solution, i'll be forced to glue the turrets but it's a pity-
any further or more suitable ideas please?

Magnets will easily work. Just drill some small holes to fit! They look just fine.

Agreed. Best solution is a pair of small rare earth magnets. One in the hull, one in the turret.

Instead of two rare-earth magnets, try doing just one with a thin sheet of steel on the other side for it to attach to.  It looks like you have plenty of room on the model for a steel square to be glued onto the hull, and a magnet-to-steel connection will have enough holding strength to keep it in place while still rotating without too strong of a bond you can get from a magnet-to-magnet connection.

I no longer do any magnet-to-magnet joins, I have had too many magnet pairs bond stronger than their glue and pull separate from ship turrets.

Drill a hole in the middle of the turret bottom and glue a short length of round sprue into the hole. Drill a corresponding hole in the top of the hull, insert sprue + turret into hole and spin.

It's not difficult to do.

Many, many, years ago I did a course where they started out by saying that one of the principles of adult education was that 'there are no wrong answers'. I wondered at the time how they would apply that maxim to say... oxy-acetylene welding. Now do turn on the oxygen or the acetylene first? Just remember, there are no wrong answers...........boom!

Having (once) done so, I can say that there is no boom - there is a 'whoosh', a hot feeling and a complete lack of eyebrows!
