10mm Macedonians/Successors
« on: 20 May 2025, 10:05:14 PM »
Nearly finished my 10mm To The Strongest Macedonian/Successor army. These fellas will serve as Alexander's army as well as various successor states. All of the figures (except Magister Militum elephants) are Old Glory.

Now that is a great looking collection of Macedonians and Successors! 10mm really lets you give the impression of a phalanx!

I love smaller scales for ancient armies, and these images show why.

They look great, the bases too. 10mm is getting more tempting!

Wonderful.  If it wasn't for already having 23 painted ancient/medieval armies in 28mm ( plus 4 in the unpainted stash) I would switch to 10mm.  If ever I want a pair of matched cavalry armies I will opt for this scale as I don't want to paint all those 28mm horses. 10mm really has come on in recent years.
