I play at the lovely Pit Gaming Store but it’s largely GW, Mantic or maybe Bolt Action. Would love to get some use of the historical ranges I have perhaps foolishly purchased over the years like Darkest Africa, AWI with Sharp Practice, BattleGroup 15mm WW2, Great War Miniatures WW1 and that kind of thing. I’m open to anything really and picking up a counter force to anything. Happy to try Black Powder (again which I have bought but never played). So I guess I’m not really a historical player. But I’m willing to learn….

Well I'm about 20-30 minutes away. Wouldn't mind getting a game in, though I've only got some space marines built and painted and most of the vehicles I've managed to print out.

So you'd have to supply the armies if that's alright. Got another local player who has a load of historical stuff, though his main army is uh, spanish conquistador types.

Lol. Thanks for responding. As ever with these things, one always has enough minis for two sides. We could also play Xenos Rampant or something with your marines in the meantime while I actually assemble what I have bought over the years. Will be in touch. Also remembered I have a load of Wars of the Roses and Never Mind the Billhooks which is probably a good one to get going first actually.

Nice one matey, look forward to getting a game in. Haven't played any historical games recently, though have heard of Never mind the Billhooks. In any case always willing to try a new game!
