Cosmic heroes 2.0 (Star Frontiers) kickstarter
« on: 30 June 2025, 03:24:37 PM »
Hey everyone, So the first round on my Cosmic heroes kickstarted didn't get to where I wanted it to be. So, It is back up and running. We are doing just pewter this time and the great thing about that is the molds are all done. The fulfillment will happen quickly. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/404694339/32mm-cosmic-heroes-ver-20

Here are some of the photos from the Kickstarter.

Not sure why most of the women, unlike the men, appear to be posing for a photo, nor why their outfits are so much more figure-hugging than the mens' outfits.

The bug aliens are interesting and cool though, very nice work on those.

Hmm there are more 'action' poses in the male figures, although I think much of the clothing is equally skintight - the figures are pretty faithful to the 80's 'pulp sci-fi' aesthetic.
Nice figures though.

The Barbarella aesthetic never gets old, even for radical feminists if recent pop stars at Glastonbury are an indication.

If you want less clingy functional women’s garb, I imagine Stargrave plastics are pretty useful. Naomi from the Expanse would approve.

Pop stars at Glastonbury are not an indicator of anything really - except, perhaps, that some people will do anything for attention!  lol

Those are fantastic. I really like the additional races on the KS page too, especially the bug-headed guys!  :-*

The bug headed guys would be the Mantoids? They're called Vrusk in Star Frontiers.

Not the Vrusk, the new Bewlorox.

Those are lovely sculpts. I understand the reasoning for race specific multiple figure sets, but really wish there was a "mix" pack option, either as a predetermined mix or even a random sample from each. I would love to add an example of each of those different races to my Void Pirates figure set.
