The shed conversion has started. The electrician has laid the cable between the garage and the shed last week and this week we started on the interior.

Firstly the floor was insulated with strips of Celotex sandwiched between battens which allowed the floor to be laid.

This was then covered in Plywood.

Needless to say I'm very excited and will add some more pics as the build progresses. No bananas were hurt in the making of this shed.

Great job, but being relegated to game in a shed? I thought I had the big room in the basement all to myself and then the missus pit a 13' long quilting machine in half of "my" room!! I guess not too bad as I can still get a 5' x 12' game table set up and it is decorated like a castle, which she spent a lot of time helping to paint it...

In the context of that Facebook page, that is very funny (and thus not dull at all lol)

Next we turned our attention to the ceiling,

More insulation in the roof avoiding the wires for the ceiling lights.

And then more plywood to create the finished interior. Or at least the finished building phase.

Next it is the electrian's turn again to convert the wiring to actual plugs and lights.

Thanks for all the encouragement.

Electrician now finished and I have lights over my workbench.

And above the game table. These spots can be adjusted to make sure the game area is well lit.

Now comes the hard work of filling and sanding.
