Nice start. I can't wait to see how it goes. I think this contest is really going to help me get my own terrain making skills a lot better by looking at others stuff.

I went down to the garden centre again yesterday and cleared their stock of 60cm tubes - sadly I only managed to get what I need and the two promised for Capt Blood. Ill go by again in a couple of weeks and see what I can find...

Hi Folks

Managed to slap a coat of black paint on the volcano last night...lesson learned from desert escarpments painting behind the cork cladding is a nightmare. better to paint the base first.

Not too sure how much is going to get done today as the weather seems to have scuppered any chance of getting into the shed...its just too cold for protracted work outside and there is no way Mrs Shed will let me cut cork back inside..
