AK-47 Republic - Rumble in the Jungle - July 27
« on: July 30, 2025, 05:26:58 PM »
3 Player game V1.  All players were considered attackers.  There was only one objective in play, a WHO envoy guarded by UN detachment.  This objective could be moved once it was secured.  Objective was to secure the objective and move it if possible to the players deployment area.

CNN reports:
The forces of CRAPO (Central Region African Peoples Organization) consisting of the dictatorships of Maite and Bogtu have fallen into strife and inter fighting after their recent losses of their aggressive actions against the peaceful people of New Rhodesia.  Despite their violent natures, New Rhodesia has answered the call of the UN and USAID to bring relief to the people of the CRAPO region through their generous Meals on Wheels program.  Unfortunately the heavy attacks of the last two battle left the armored meals on Wheels delivery tanks unable to face the most recent problems of CRAPO.  The UN and WHO have received reports of a new Z-1 virus outbreak in Bogtu.  Maite may be behind these reports.  The UN and WHO has again called on the good people of New Rhodesia to assist in containment and investigation of this threat.
-General Motu-Motu (so nice you have to say it twice) of New Rhodesia provided  confirmation of this story.

Bogtu suffered an early loss of one of there few remaining tanks to the unpainted forces of Maite.  Bogtu's last remaining serviceable tank was then lost to a field cannon of the New Rhodesian defensive forces.  New Rhodesian forces secured the WHO objective first after losing a portee RCL by mistaken UN fire.  Unfortunately the unpainted masses of Maite then assaulted the WHO envoy but the outnumbered New Rhodesian heroes fought bravely to defend the envoy.  Bogtu rabble then joined the melee vastly outnumbered the brave New Rhodesian defenders.  The Bogtu rabble was dispersed after losing their last morale point, the New Rhodesian force fell as casualties, and the unpainted Amite kidnapped the envoy and began moving them away while still under fire from New Rhodesian forces.

Maite secured their first win in this campaign.  The WHO envoy was unable to investigate the Z-1 outbreak, the containment efforts continue.  Rumor has it that Maite is moving towards a new government influenced by French forces.  Bogtu continues to deny the Z-1 outbreak and claims the sightings are only children from their mining operations.  New Rhodesia stands committed to peace and establishing good will in the region.

Looks great, but all unpainted troops should suffer at least a -1 on their rolls...   :D lol

The unpainted forces of Maite of course endure endless ridicule during the game. 😆

There is a penalty, at the end of the game, if unpainted figures are used, but I agree penalties
during the game would seem fair.
AK47 (especially V1  :D) does make for a great game.
Thanks for posting.

Interesting.  Bummer for New Rhodesia.  Nice little report, though.  Well, except for the hereticalness and blasphemery of playing with unpainted figures... :o 8)

Seriously, well done!

This battle was on July 27 and part of a continued campaign, I will get a few more short write ups from our previous and most current game.  Our campaign started with 3 players and is now expanding to 5 maybe 6 players.
