80 years war 3d sculpting project
« on: 17 September 2025, 07:41:19 PM »
The last few years I've picked up 3d sculpting miniatures as I always wanted to have a crack at creating my own minis. I thought this thread could be a nice place to try something new to log and share my progress with you all on my latest project as I work on it.

The minis are going to be printed at 28mm scale and should be suited for the 1620-1640s or thereabouts, which would lend them well for the latter part of the 80 Years War and for other conflicts like the 30 Years War of the English Civil War in a pinch. I'd like to sculpt enough minis to make two small warbands for a game of En Garde.

The first WIP is a musketeer

2nd WIP is a more gentlemanly type which will have a sword and a pistol, but needs a bit more work.

I'd like to get run a print for these guys in the coming week and see how come out and paint up.

Like what you have done, & am keen to see how it all turns out.
Are you thinking of eventually selling figures?
