There is very faded yellow striping on the ‘original’ and this new one looks to follow that pattern.

so early model AT-AT's (they're the SW:Rebels type, which got established as a separate model rather than just stabilization like with TIE's and ISD's in the show), pretty sure i glimpsed some Vulture Droids too.

apparently this is not the big avengers style finale crossover that The Mandalorian and Ahsoka were going to set up (originally meant to include the cancelled Rangers of the New Republic series), more like a condensed mando season 4.

Early indeed. This model was one of the concepts designed by Ralph McQuary back during the development of The Empire Strikes Back. I always thought them showing up in Rebels was a nice nod to that
