Being the son of a Cherokee woman, I'm always pleased to see Cherokee on the painting table. Looks great so far, Duhamel:)

Stand Watie (the last Confederate general to surrender, and a Cherokee) is one of the figs we have planned for the Champions of History range. Hope to have him out next year.

thank you for your compliments.
I've just changed to correspond with my period (1830/1850) after reading that Delaware had served as a scout during the war against Mexico, then why not the Cherokee.

Very nicely thought out, well executed figures.  My hat is off to you.

A very interesting people with a bittersweet history of trying to adjust to living with settlers in their original and the transplanted home areas.
