What a hideous thought. :o

Indeed it is, I feel quite faint....,  :o

Thanks for all the interest in this project which, as has been observed, is one of many!  :D

It's not going to race ahead at the greatest speed but I'm hoping it'll also give me the opportunity to add to and otherwise expand parts of my new temperate uplands board (the build for which is in Fantasy).

Thanks again Valerik, for a wonderfully evocative and enlightening post: I enjoyed the anecdote  lol

Thanks, Valerik, for the kind words about my rules. Silent Invader, my "bible" for a painting guide is this gem I picked up at the reconstructed War of 1812 fort in northern Ohio, Fort Meigs:

Although it is pricey, you can spend ours leafing through the paintings, getting inspiration for clothes, color combinations, warpaint, tattoos -- you name it! Most of my collection of 28mm Indians are painted with a heavy debt to the renowned artist of the Eastern Woodlands period.

Oh, and if you'd like to read some battle reports using the rules, there are dozens here:

You will also find more posts about this time period in the "Pikes, Muskets, and Flouncy Shirts" board...
