Great idea. Would have to plan in advance (some 4-6 weeks, though).

Oh that looks nice, Chris.

Is the table the one with the railroad ??
Fits perfectly I'd say. Good job

Very nice. Puts my Bolsheviks to shame!

I like the flag. Did you make it yourself or is it from a manufacturer?

I really need to take some photos of my Reds and post them here sometime!

Thanks, Tovarish! All the flags were done using an old Adobe Photoshop and printed on my Canon MP 510 printer.

Long time, nothing new, but now it´s time for more Russians to throw off the shackles of the Imperialist oppressors!

Which is to say, I shaved off the shoulder tabs and cap insignia of a White Russian HMG team by Copplestone and painted them up for more Revolutionary Firepower:

And I built an Mgebrov-White armoured car, a WW1 design whose "fate after 1916 is unknown", so perfectly fine to include in my Pulp Russian army.

The Copplestone figure for scale; the car was built from a paper kit in 1/43rd scale found on the web (link available on request, he´s also got a nice Russo-Balt armoured car which I might build as well). The new scale is 1/56th, a little bit small, but that´s just due to the bulk of Copplestone figures - height-wise, it´s okay, judging from period photos.

On their way to "commandeer" agricultural produce or to "secure" cultural heritage treasures before the cowardly Counterrevolutionaries can grab them, this Bolshevik troop has boarded the latest addition to my force, a White Model 1911 heavy-duty lorry, probably imported previously or captured from a White Russian support column.

Using a paper kit found on the internet, this model was made using 300g/sq.mtr cardboard, metal washers and wire, and balsa wood for the flatbed and sides. Paper for the tarpaulin. The driver is a re-painted Chinese Artillerist, who just heard an aircraft and is scanning the skies for a potential threat. May replace him if I find a better-fitting driver (with stretched arms, preferably. But looks ok.

Worked out a bit large-ish, although I scaled-down the kit to 1:56th; however, now it looks like a decent heavy lorry to me, and I can actually fit 8 Bolsheviks on the back, or a machine-gun and four more Reds.

Vroomski vroomski! ;)
