Cheers Nick!
The model itself is a Reviresco VSF cockroach. At first I was planning on basing it because of all the legs, but as it turns out it is well made (all lead) and sturdy when put together. I added the cross beams down the side and over the top using a strip of plastic sheet. The bolts on the beams were little balls of milliput which I just smashed into place. In the rear I added a plastic square "doo dad" from the bits box and mounted the smoke stack. Painting was a bit of a pain and I used lots of varnish for extra protection. White is a finicky color and kinda hard to dirty up (which I thought about), but decided I'd just go with a new paint job prototype.
The machine itself is a bit taller than a large 28mm miniature. I'm working on an "operator" and plan to use it kinda like an automaton. Right now I think I will arm it with a flame thrower.
Anyway, a unique vehicle which fits right in with my Egyptian concept.
