Very, very, very nice.  They are a lesson in 'characterful' sculpting.  8)

I hate you, I hate you, I hate you… that is until my financial situation improve.... then I will buy some figures!  ;)

Real nice figures. BTW, that’s a very smart move to provide both a mounted and dismounted version of the same figures. 8)

Woah! Superb character in those. Lovely work (and good choice of sculptor there, Nick  ;))

There's something in those Bickley genes, obviously...
Well, they must be on his mom's side then... ;)

Those are lovely sculpts and I'm very tempted by them.
But is it possible for you to sell the dismounted minis separately. These are very usefull to bulk up the ranks of my Texian army and I would need several Daniels, Amos, Mials ....  . But I don't need the mounted ones (or at least not so many of them).

Also, how is the scale compared to the Artizan Texians?

Due to the way these are set up to be cast I can't sell the character figures separately.
There will however be some packs of rank and file Texians figures comprising just dismounted troops in a variety of poses and clothes, plus speciality sets like the New Orleans Greys and Alabama Red Rovers.

Work starts shortly on the bulk of the Mexian troops, so expect to see those within the next couple of months. The Texian infantry packs will be later in the year

They fit perfectly with the Artizan Alamo range. Here is a comparison shot:

Oh, that's gone and torn it. I've been wavering these last few months, but now I'm catching the distinctive scent of a New Project. Might as well just go and write a bloody cheque payable to the Malamute Mortgage Fund right now then...  ;)

Beautiful figures Nick.  :)
