Fair enough.  Now back to the proper chat about proper toy soldiers. You sent them to the mouldmaker yet?

Naughty boy.

Yes they are with the casters now, so I should have the lead next week. :D

Have you thought about trying to turn Phil Collins on to your range? This guy has wargamer potential written all over him! We should convert him to the dark side...

Yes I was aware he was an Alamo fan, having seen photos of him at the Alamo on another forum.

That thread on the TMP got me wondering how to get in touch with him about how he "needs" to buy some Boot Hill figures  :)

Sure--we can convince him that he needs to do it at 1:1 scale!

has anybody compared these with the cannon fodder miniatures?
I'm just wondering how they would measure up.

I have - and they are a pretty good match (the same with Artizan). I'll get a couple of size-comparison shots up in a couple of hours...

Update...

I should have the new lead castings in the next 24 hours, and will have them on the webshop at the weekend. ;D

As Xander has suggested they are fine alongside Artizan and Cannon Fodder, although the Cannon Fodder Mexican infantry are quite short.

A Comparison shot will be much appreciated.

Right, I've got those comparison shots that I mentioned. Whilst I was at it, I also took some comparisons with Foundry & Artizan figures (Nick, feel free to steal any of these if you want to use them for the website). My appologies for the lack of scenic basing & the WiP figures, but I just grabbed what I had to hand on my desk...

Boot Hill & Cannon Fodder Miniatures

From L to R: CFM, BH, CFM, BH CFM, BH, CFM

Boot Hill & Artizan Designs

From L to R: AD, BH, AD, BH, AD, BH, AD

Boot Hill & (Newish) Foundry

From L to R: F, BH, F, BH, F, F

Artizan Designs & Cannon Fodder Miniatures

(I don't mean to muslce other figure companies onto your thread Nick, but as I had my camera out... )

And 1 figure from each of the 4 manufacturers

Artizan, Cannon fodder, Boot Hill & Foundry
