Redoubt Boxers vs Copplestone BoB
« on: January 15, 2010, 08:52:23 PM »
Wotcha,

Am putting together a Weird West gang for a Great Rail Wars-type game, and going with a FuManchu-style Tong gang. The Redoubt boxers are great value – 10 for £9 – but I have no idea how they scale next to Copplestone's BoB stuff (I'm using the rifle-armed bandits for the ranged troops).

Does anyone have a photo of a redoubt boxer next to a Copplestone figure? Or, failing that, any experience of the two ranges. The two style will be in different units, so I'm not too worried about them being perfectly in scale, but I would like to avoid the same degree of discrepancy as between Artizan and Old Foundry Apaches...

Cheers!

The Redoubt are a bit smaller. Seems appropriate for height of Asians in the Wild West. Did I post a size comparison of RCW figs here?

I have a bunch of those Rail Wars figs.  Love them, but they are big.

What happened to the "Famites"?  I want more, for Old West zombies, and "Innsmouth" fish men in human form.

I have both Redoubt Boxers & some Copplestone stuff. The Copplestones are a bit bigger but no so that you couldn't mix them in the same unit even.
