My 1 hour submarine
« on: January 17, 2010, 12:03:55 AM »
Found out this morning that I needed a submarine for a game tonight, so this is my result. 15 minutes to build the thing out of a deoderant lid and scrapand a couple of more 15 minute paint breaks.

Why work yourself to death when the good things are so simple? Great idea!

The hatch is a fender washer and a piece of tape, the mast from a ball point pen, the rest is from plastic cross stitch grid. The decals are from some old GW stuff.  I built this at work so I was scrounging for stuff in my desk drawer and my truck.

Great, and quick thinking!  (Sometimes, the best ideas just come up quick, eh?)

I probabaly would have been painting a summer sausage and cussing if I had to do it on such short notice!   lol

Very clever!  Looks great!
Check out THE CROGAN ADVENTURES, a historical adventure graphic novel series available from your local bookstore or comic shop (or, of course, Amazon).  I make 'em.
