The Chasm Construction Update Part 3
« on: 22 January 2010, 06:38:28 AM »
I have been making a number of 12" x 12" encounter placards for RPG games of every sort, Pulp, D&D, what have you. The goal is a small portable set of out door and underground setting pieces that allow the game master to set up a close engagement between players that would use around 10-20 figures without getting to crowded. Planning on removeable chasm bottom pieces that I can put in or change out as needed : River, Rocky bottom, or painted forced perspective of an Really deep chasm :)

Desert and woodland placard pics are also featured on the site. Need a supply run tommorow to get more brushable caulking and get the Cavern placard smoothed out and ready for painting. And casting more resin rock faces for the upper levels.

New progress pictures:

Plugged away to try and wrap this model up, Water is in, not fully tinted yet and debating pouring in a clear water finish to it to give it more depth, sketches of Bridge and shaping wires to wrap with heave thread for the rope bridges moving along. Party of Archeologists waiting to cross it!

That is great work.  Looks like it will be a top notch piece when all is done.
