Assuming the A66 isn't closed by snow again in the next fortnight, me and the old fella will be heading accross for to load up on shit we won't ever paint.

Nope. My leg's in a cast and I'm pretty much housebound. Asda is as far as I've been in the past month, apart from the hospital.

I'm gutted because I missed it last year and promised myself I'd get there this year.

I am trying to find a route which is downhill all the way so I can freewheel. The hard part is finding a route back that is also downhill.
