Cool It With The Double Posting Already...!

There seems to be an explosion lately in members making identical posts in multiple categories. While I understand that some topics legitimately fall between two (or more) equally relevant topic headings, I think that this is a wasteful practice that clutters the board and dilutes interest in a thread.

I think he's not referring to sequential double posts, but two posts in separate forum areas detailing the same news item (for example, opening a post for, say, colonial infantry in "Colonials" and another for the same figures in "VSF").

I don't think that's positively necessary, since our "new posts" are much easier accessible than on, say, TMP, where any board you don't watch closely quickly fades into oblivion (to my experience, at least).

Nonetheless, I find the issue a bit irritating if the titles of the posts are misleadingly different so as to suggest different topics (unintentionally, I'm sure).

I'm not sure if this is in the same vein but I can't see the point in quoting an entire post and responding with one sentence. More so if the original post contains 5+ pictures...
