Lord Flasheart Returns
« on: February 01, 2010, 12:22:02 AM »
Lord Flasheart, having recently returned from an extended hunting trip in the French colony on Venus, has reportedly taken ship bound for newly discovered Atlantis. He stated that he was intending to join the Royal Geographical Society expedition, where he looked forward to bagging new big game in an environment that didn't rot the shirt on your back and where all the local flora and fauna were not all conspiring to eat him.

Shown here with his magazine fed elephant gun, the figure is a conversion of a discontinued HLBS big game hunter.

They will be along shortly. ;)

Rumour has it that the famous hunter/explorer Allan Quatermain is joining Lord Flasheart on the expedition....

Greta stuff Dave, looking forward to his assistance in a couple of weeks time. :)

Suitably OTT in a great VSF kind of way. I dont know the mini, did you fashion that hussars jacket from putty?

"That's what she used to call it! Whoah!" ;)

A bit "old school" in the sculpting style, but rather suits the purpose, I say!

Ah yes, suitably eccentric for a VSF hunter. I'm curious about where this figure comes from too.
Don't!

Really people, read the original posts properly  ;)

(excluding Svennn, who is clearly a living Mullet and not a person in any sense :D )

Yes, but what is added/removed from the original that I do not know? Old blue arse Thunderchief may well have missed what Bullshot typed but I for one did not. So edit your post to make it clear that I am not "people" please :D ;D

In answer to questions about the figure:

The original figure came with a short cloak, so I just added some greenstuff to make the hussar pelliase (to match the one on the Eureka figure I use for 'home service' Flasheart.

The original gun had a fairly thin barrel and and naff sight. I replaced the barrel with brass tube and the new sight is plastic rod and greenstuff.
