Armoured Car Generic Paint Scheme

As I await the arrival of my Old Glory purchases; an Austin, and Lancaster armoured cars.

I now have to think what colours to paint them? They will mostly be used for early war French and late war British.

So if anyone could suggest a flexible colour scheme it would be much appreciated.
