VSF Project - Updated; Lancers
« on: 20 February 2010, 11:50:25 PM »
Start of an on-going little VSF Project...

Command

Infantry

Blimp (seen before but included here as part of the project)

and the start of the Naval Detachment - Gatling, Gardener & Infantry to follow

and the Lancers

Next up a bit of steam powered armour

Hope you like....

I was always a sucker for those Eureka Lancers.  Nice blacks (dark blues?) on the command group.

It all looks really good and I love the Empress models, but I can see I must have to go and highten my standards of painting now  ;)

Anyway I will look forward to follow what happens next.

What rules do you plan to use? if any.

Bloody excellent, looks like a great start.

Similar to where I'd start, but I'd be too tempted by all the weird stuff. ;D

Excellent command group - it's all good but I particularily like the command, especially the portly chap on the right :)

Still can't get my thoughts around the Eureka minis for some reason which is highly unlike me! Great paint jobs and a reminder to get painting my own stuff up!

As the others said Dags, great start to your project. Have you got any contraptions lined up (other than the blimp)?
Don't!

Thanks all 8)

Have you got any contraptions lined up (other than the blimp)?

A couple of Ironclad Steam Tanks - one'll be next along with the rest of the Lancers and a couple of 15mm Black Hat walkers with the weapons replaced with spare Ironclad gatlings
