Other than casting my own metal Prince August LotR stuff, GW 6mm stuff was my first "proper" miniature gaming experience way back in the 80s. As such I have always had a soft spot for 6mm sci-fi.
The Sin Eaters chapter below is based on a WH40K Chaos Marine force that I painted ~2000 that I replicated in 6mm in 2003 or so. I took some adequate photos last year and (inspired by the Warmaster /HotT stuff
HERE) I thought that I would share some of my tiny GW guys too
Being a GW Chaos force they are often going to look a little cartoony in comparison with more "serious" sci-fi. I also found that translating the colours used in 28mm to 6mm meant that the 6mm guys looked even more Saturday morning cartoon type bad guys than the original 28mm did.
Rather than fight it, I decided to roll with it, giving the figures oversized icons (the green inverted Shamrock looking thing is a 40k Chaos device) on various parts of the vehicles and larger troopers and the like. At 6mm there isnt much point in being too subtle I reckon.
Finally, the force is a Nurgle themed one. For those who dont know Nurgle stuff is associated with decay. As a result there are lots of rather theatrical bits and pieces of battle damage, gooey run-off etc throughout the army.
As always, comments and criticisms welcome

The Imperial Navy/Titan elements below were intended to be an approximate inversion of the existing scheme. It worked out OK but not as obvious as I would have liked: they were a rush job towards the end of the project. At that stage I just wanted to get them finished before I ran out of enthiusiasm and moved on to the next thing.

Finally, for comparative purposes here is a pretty crappy, kinda blue-ish picture of a pair of the 28mm Sin Eaters.
