The Tiger Princess
« on: 10 March 2010, 02:55:13 AM »
Jebus did most of the hard work on these figures, and I just added a few minor details recently.

My daughter called us out on not painting the tiger markings quite right so I’ve touched it up a little more --
Miniature by Reaper/Dark Heaven

Here are three pics of the Tiger Princess. Her tiger companion, Sahari, is always close at hand --

Miniature by Foundry

Jeannie Mae, explorer and friend of Tigra, is pictured with the youngest of Lost Temple monks, Little Rain --

Miniatures by Copplestone and Hasslefree

Brother Rock and Brother Thunder belong to a small order of temple guardians --

Miniatures by AEG

Together, they are known throughout the jungle as Princess Tigra and the Last Guardians --

THANKS,

Excellent, the tiger's stripes and the monks especially.

The sort of crew who could show up and cause trouble in nearly any situation, anywhere! Very pulpy, and awesome.

Very Nice and the Tiger markings look spot on to my untrained eye

What a cool little group.

Your daughter was right I think. The tiger looks very realistic.  :D

fsultana,

Ack! I incorrectly attributed my tiger to Foundry in the first post.

This "tiger" is actually from Reaper Miniature's Dark Heaven line. The pack is called Male and Female Lions (2).

Tricky - very tricky. How can a lioness look so much like a tiger! Great work!

The details that dad added for me were the white behind the ears and more white on the face. Hours of watching animal planet have made me an expert on such things. lol

WOW!

Not only do you produce some of the best buildings I have seen in this and other forums, but your good at miniature painting too!

My hat off to you both.

Please keep posting your amazing and inspirational work so we mere mortals can droool over such beautiful work.

Best wishes.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!
