Pulp City More freedom than first expected
« on: March 11, 2010, 09:26:38 PM »
Now i was tempted into gaming in Superhero but ive started Rp'ing and i doubt ill get round to it. the point is Pulp city always interested me because the rules were free (thats right im a cheepo ;) ) But the only let down was you could only use there characters surely you could just look at the stats they have and re roll then re name the character etc.

Would this work? Just something i was thinking about.

each mini comes in a box with some cards that give his game stats and the special rules for that character. each mini will have at least four or five rules that are unique to that model. i imagine it would be very difficult to play without the cards, so you do have to buy the minis. not the cheepest option after all.

Copies of the cards can be purchased for something like 20 euro cents each, meaning if you wanted to proxy it is more than feasible.

You can also look at images of the cards in the individual threads on the Heroes and Villains section of the Pulp City forum.

i stand corrected. in that case, this could be a very cheap game. are the rules still available as a PDF?

No worries mate. :)

I understand that the current and next editions will remain free to download - that a basic PDF (sans fluff) version will always remain available for free, with a fluff-packed printed version to go on release (hopefully this year) for those who want that bit more.
