I actually think you should use 'castra':

From Wikipedia:

In classical Latin the word castra always means "great legionary encampment", both "marching", "temporary" ones and the "fortified permanent" ones, while the diminutive form castellum was used for the smaller forts, which were usually, but not always, occupied by the auxiliary units and used as logistic bases for the legions,....

I've begun working on the owlbears now. Still missing the reaper ones, but crossing my fingers there'll be some here in time.

Yes the claws are red. And yes I've given them high gloss. And yes this is on purpose. And no they're not done yet. And yes my project is very silly. And no a lot of people won't understand or like it. I'm glad we understand each other.

3 o'bears done. 3 more en route to Denmark. 2 Reaper ones and the last D&D one.

(that is if I have filled in the form at spirit games correctly... boy what a nightmare to shop online there!)

Oh I should probably describe the next part then:

1) Gaming board: farily simple 3'x3' with a water front somwhere. There'll be a raft with viking sail or just a crashed viking ship in the water.

2) Nests for the owl bears. The objective will be to gather some owlbear eggs for the starving seawrecked vikings, so I need some eggs and some nests.. I imagine greenstuff and wire will get me somewhere.

3) Make the Roman camp and some columns. Get the druid and the lilliputs painted.

Easy peasy!
