Although this is nowhere near as good as many others I have seen on here it is I think a simple and reasonably effective finish and as I have had quite a few requests and this is easier than sending it each time

And remember I am a very lazy and impatient painter so it needed to be quick for me too

Basecoat of dark blue all over.
Basic grid of dark green, similar to what I think of as the GW Woodland green. I try to do these stripes as two brush strokes wide.
Highlight the green in all the intersections with a lighter green. Goblin Green? I actually did two greens as the first was not showing enough. If you can do neat squares brilliant but I tend to dab it in leaving a little dark green around the edges.
Same with the blue. I used more of a Royal Blue but you could just add white to the base colour.
Thin black lines along all the edges of the green stripes including crossing over the intersections. I dont actually use black but a paynes grey which is very dark and almost black.
Thin white lines to finish. I do all the verticals down the centre of the blue squares and just one horizontal across the middle. I did plan this by only putting two horizontal green stripes. You can do them all but I think it looks better without.
Hope that helps someone somewhere
