Batrayal and Backstabbing in India (pic. heavy)
« on: 02 May 2010, 02:34:51 PM »
Lately there has been very quit in India and the British headquaters a worried about the lack of Prussian activity, so of course they expect that something awful is about to happen.

Of course it was a surprise when the renegade Phileas Frogg showed up in the British camp, but the information he held came as little surprise; the Prussians were up to no good, apperently they had teamed up with the Russian occultist Rasputin and had begun a projekt to summon dark forces to add them in battle. This had to be stopped.

But Phileas Frogg did not give this information for free, in return he wanted to be part of the raiding party, for unknown reasons, but Lord Cornwall could see no other solution than to agree and ignoring the fact that Mr Frogg is a wanted man in all British tarritory.

Lord Cornwall was still occupied in the search for his kidnapped wife, so instead he sent his thrusted friend Colonel Sidewall to lead the expedition, accompanied by Isembard Brunell and some other scientists.

Of course both sides has hidden agendas, the brits want to stop Rasputin and the Prussians, but if they get the chance they will also try and arrest Phileas Frogg.

Phileas Frogg on the other hand wants to see if he can capture some of the Russian/Prussian technology, get his hands on some unobtanium and if possible settle an old score with Isembard Brunell.

By dusk they manage to get to the whereabout of Rasputin nd his companions.

They quickly discover that something unearthly is already at play.

To their surprise they see that the Prussian General Ubervollgas is present, but see very few other troops around.

Two of Phileas Froggs men; El Waco and Mr. Jones, leading the Royal Mail Rifle Corps in the flank.

Werfenberger and Phileas Frogg accompanied by a Tobsen Class Landtrain.

Colonel Sidewall, Niles Gladstone and a unit of Colonial Infantry.

Mr Isembard Brunell, bringing along his old friend Irwin morningwood, who has a degree in occult litterature and a Light Steam Charger.

Mr. Jonas leading his men through the bushes.

Sir Morningwood hides in the bushes and try to find out what Rasputin is doing, he reports back that it appears he is doing a Catholic Easter Sermon.

The Rifle Corps is closing in, still unseen by the Prussian guards.

A haunting stream of chanting is coming from Rasputin and the the Landtrain moving in finally give away the british forces.

Morningwood "Oh wait, it is of course the Hindu rite of baptism and not a Catholic Easter Sermon"

At the other side of the camp the infantry is closing in and Niles Gladstone make a heroic attempt to overpower Udo Ubervollgass.

Resulting in both men being knocked down, but Phileas Frogg is closing in to enterrogate the Prussian general.

Colonel Sidewall charge forward to get his hands on Ubervollgas, but Phileas Frogg won't let go and the two personalities begin to wrestle it out while Werfenberger is closing in to help his boss.

Phileas Frogg gets away with the General, while Werfenberger starts a shootout with Colonel Sidewall.

Meanwhile Rasputin has finished his rites and some horrible monster appears in the circle.

Here is missing a few pics as Isembard Brunell tries to stop Rasputin from fleeing but he gets knocked down.

The heroric british firering line kills off some unarmed civilians and a donkey.

Royal Mail Rifle Corps is closing in while Rasputin begin to move out of the way. The monster is identified by Sir Morningwood as an Elder Thing.

Colonel Sidewall and Werfenberger is still battleing it out, ending with Werfenberger getting hit by a bullet.

The British infantry decides to move on after their initial success.

One of the men from the rifle corps starts to examin one of the energi rods, his friends see him squirm and smells his flesh cooking before his lifeless body falls to the ground.

Mr Jones try to shoot Rasputin in the back but fails, seconds after that El Waco (just outside the picture) fires his rifle into Rasputin, but only an empty robe falls to the ground.

Colonel Sidewall makes his way to attack General Vollgas, who in the meantime have knocked down Phileas Frogg.

Finally a british success, Colonel Sidewall quickly drag Udo Ubervollgas away from the battle and makes his way towards Cornwalls with his prisoner.

British troops examin the golden Ganesh statue and discoveres that it is a statue and it is made of gold!

The Infantry Sergeant tries to shout some order to the Rifle Corps, but either is he too far away or they just don't care, they move into the circle and feels mighty, strong and powerful, ready to take on the world.

Suddenly a horde of madmen pours out of the Landtrian, making a frontal assault on the British infantry, sending them running off the battlefield.

Phileas Froggs men searching the rest of the battlefield while the Elder Thing is flying off into the Indian jungle after ripping apart the Steam Charger.

Conclusion:

Phileas Frogg was picked up by his men, then salvaging the battlefield for technology, stripping the most important parts from the steam vehicles and most importantly getting his hands on some precious unobtanium.

Isembard Brunell had crawled off the peremiter and went off into the jungle, eventually getting back to the British camp.

Colonel Sidewall went back to Lord Cornwall to report the failure, but the failure was soon forgotten because the Prussian General Ubervollgas had been taken prisoner, now they could hoepfully exchange him for the Lady Cornwall.

The energi circle lost its power when Rasputin and the Elder Thing were no longer present, but the parts were taken by Phileas Frogg for further examination.

As usual, the reporters don't give a dime about the true facts when it comes to battles involving the british Empire. The honors for destroying the Steam Charger goes to my brave cossacks disguised as Royal Mail Riflemen.

Ej Gore, cancel the Bombay Standard. :)

I'm sure you gave me a crooked die for rolling occult knowledge checks for mr. Morninghardon.

I failed all my (4 consecutive) rolls by the largest possible margin almost..

Elder things are not to be messed with... delivering mail to an old-age home has taught me that .  ;)
