Painted - Fishmen
« on: 12 May 2010, 08:50:09 PM »
So gald to get some time last night to sit and paint.

The blue has a slightit metallic look to it mixed some Mithral Silver in to give it a more fish scale look.

Nifty and blue.

I bet these fishmen are never seen drinking cappucino in italian restauraunts with oriental women...

Pretty good go at those fishmen!

While I like the blue scales and also the purple robes, I personnally don't like them together on the same model as the colours kind of clash.  It might show more contrast to use a shade of complimetary colour.  Could be just me though  ::)

On the other hand, they certainly do look dark and sinister... >:D

I didn't want them to look drab and such why should they after all ;)

So the brighter robes reminded me of Roman Cults so went with that..

My snakemen i plan on a linen type colour for the robe as they see themselves as pure its us thats odd ;)

These look great!

One photograph would have been fine, rather than the same one 4 times over!  :)

I think the robes make them seem more regal to a degree.

On a second look with the re-posted pics, they look much better than I had originally thought.  Good job. Plus, I think that purple and blue combo is starting to grow on me...

Naww, too lippy for that. lol

Your colour palette seems to just work, somehow. It's quite interesting.
Everything is better with lizardmen.
