Very nice.

Any planes in the pipeline?

I'm thinking of all those lovely 1/48 scale interwar and early war types for ground attack  :D

There is also a DVD set during the Winter War, but its not available in the UK:

To bad there is no one who is "out-of-the-closet Finlander" ( ;-) ) in the forum. As a Swede I am a bit sensitive about stealing their thunder. But anyway, that DVD is a good one.

There are two others dealing with what is in Sweden and Finland called the Continuation War of '41-'44.
Beyond the Front Line http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0377935/
The Unknown Soldier http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0048752/
The last one is canonical both as a book and film here and its quite heart rendering.

(There is of course a US remake of the last one from 1992 starring Bruce Willis and Pamela Anderson as the courageous Sergeant Pekka and his captive Soviet Pig Artillery Captn. Olga. ;-). Sgt Pekkas catch frase "I'll make you see Red Stars, baby!" is unforgettable. )

Hi Boggler

On my list as I couldn't purchase the model in Australia. I'm still awaiting a reply from a company down South.

Thanks for thinking of this one.
Best wishes,
Helen

BTW, Helen, I just remembered I had an article on the Finnish Air Force in the Winter War. The Text is in German, but the captions are bilingual in English/German - so if you´re interested, I´d scan it for you and send it via mail. Drop me a PM if you´d like to. Great pics and some pages with model aircraft.

Okay to continue my project. Today I received my Gloster gladiator MKII (with skis) from Roden in 1/48 th scale. Also I received my BAM Finns which are very nice. If this is a period you have been alittle conflict shy than please revisit this period. Mr Richard Ansell has created some beautiful articulated figures with great poses.

Highly recommended as well as the upcoming release of the Brigade Games Finns in Winter Attire from the same designer. More than enough Finns to suit your needs.
