Hi there,
just managed to get some minis painted: some pulp heroes and villains as well as a bunch of hillbillies (see www.amazing-tintales.de).

Actually I am thinking about some concepts for feats/skills/profiles for these guys -  especially The Crimson Scorpion, The  Creeping Claw and Stahlmaske. Any recommendations (whether general or .45-related) are highly welcome!

Hagen: Great paint work! I really like what you did with Stahlmaske. The two-tone look is very original.

As for your skills question, here are my general comments...

The Crimson Scorpion: I see him as less combat oriented and more brains oriented. I would think skills like mesmerize, poison and concealed weapon would be good for him.

The Creeping Claw looks like he enjoys lurking. I would thnk things like Disguise, Fear Grade 1, Stealth

Stahlmaske: He seems to be the fighter of the group. He has the SMG, but I think he looks more like a brawler with things like Intimidate, High Strength, and Fearful Presence.

Just my thoughts of course.

What colour do you use to highlight the black?  Is that a standard Vallejo colour or something you mixed yourself?

@dominic: it's just gw chaos black and skull white. And a mix of both...

That's almost the same I was thinking about: he must have 'poison' (well, he is the Crimson Scorpion) and 'concealed weapon'. And maybe 'meet my minions' together with some of the the new hooded minions from Pulp Figures. Definately more on the brain than on the combat side....

I like the look of the SMG on this one but actually I would have prefered the mini without a weapon (or just a hand gun) to make him some kind of 'brick'-character. Maybe he will become the personal bodyguard of Prof. Kettler - the kaisers' evil mastermind... :twisted:

Mhuahaha! Nobody resists the almighty Stahlmaske (well - maybe until he meets Medousa's mini (edit: or '2000AD Slaine'): than he will be running back to mum crying for mercy  :cry: )

Terrific stuff- although you should paint the hillbillies' teeth black or vile yellow  - the white is completely wrong!

I just painted my own Stahlmaske, with a red helmet to match the armband. Nothing says 'evil' like a black and red colour scheme.

Either that or he's an AC Milan supporter.
