Lurking for too long without posting. Pics of my post apocalyptic Explorer. The first vehicle out of the vault to go and explore what's left of the world.

It's not big, or clever, but let's do it anyway

Extraordinary!  :o

Is that the old GZG model?

I love the way you combined the "industrial yellow" with the dirt. Superbly done, and those windows are great, too.

That's great. I especially like the weathering.

May i ask who makes the crawler and buildings in the background?

The model is an old GZG vehicle with various bits added. The buildings are 'plasticville'; US O Gauge model railway buildings. You can sometimes find them on eBay or through:

I've got a bundle of them that I am slowly working my way through. Complete street to come.

Wow, that's great! Very nice idea too.

Kinda reminds me of a giant version of the mars robot.  :D

It's an old GZG model, no longer in production. 25/28mm scale.

The yellow and the weathering on the vehicle are fantastic, and you've done a great job on the buildings too - now, of course, we want to see MORE!
