15mm Arthurian HotT Hero
« on: 15 June 2010, 04:16:22 AM »
I finished one of my hero elements of Arthur for my 15mm Arthurian HotT army and thought I'd share some photos. The idea of the slain around the base has unashamedly been pilfered from Paul Potter. The dripping blood is a little over the top but I wanted to try it and kind of liked the way it turned out.

I hope you like it.

Excellent work for the size and the raven is a nice touch.  I think the blood works.
This is my boomstick!

Superb! How did you make the blood drips? They must be pretty small at this scale.

Thanks  :D

The gore idea I pilfered from the Saxon Dog Blog, who read it in a White Dwarf. He used with a 28mm miniature but I thought I'd give it a go with a 15mm miniature. It is a fine straight hair with a small amount of coloured white glue applied. Once dry I went over it with a more suitable colour.

This is a link to the Arthurian section of the blog where I read about the idea: http://saxondog.blogspot.com/search/label/Arthurians
