I'm pre-empting my thread over at the SOTR forum dying without a response.

Preempting being stuck with Americans in Secrets of the Third Reich, I thought that the Batltle of the Bulge would be good fun.  I don't want to buy those bloody expensive APE suits just for Incursion, and I'd already sold my mate the German force idea when we were going to do a couple low-tech occult platoon, so that leaves me wih the yanks  :?.

Wacht am Rheim seems to be a popular choice for SOTR gamers, so I was searching for background, official or peoples' own fluff.

You don't have to play Yanks, in SOTR their are also Russians and British and if you get the second book you can have a Partisan list. Beyond that i am sorry but i cant really see what your trying to say or ask.

I know, but if I'm buying the APE suits, I'd rather have a wider use for them than Incursion!

I was asking if there was any Weird World War 2 Battle of the Bulge background around, either official, or from another game, or background that they have written themselves.

I understand your fervour for WWW2 BotB, but sadly have nothing to offr of my own

You might want to consider using your APEs as an alliedsupport contingent for Brits or other allies too, you dont haveto be suck with just Yanks.

That said, air dropped APEs to support a beleagured 101st surrounded by Zeds and pounded by Jet aircarft supported Mecha owuld be very kewl  :-*

Here are my rules inspired by Grindhouse Game's APE minis.

Also some battle reports with the APE minis in them

Maybe that stuff can give ya some inspiration or new ideas for the APE in your gaming.

Enjoy,
Brian
