Perhaps RediPrene? You heat it, shape it and it keeps it's shape when it cools.

Alos looks very interesting. Since I am looking for a more regular slate pattern this one may be it.

Hammers - I'm building my range of products, so if you could give me more of an idea what you are after i could design the next product around your needs.

You spoil me. Since I am aiming to build a Victorian building a neo-Tudor or neo-Gothic style requires a tidier look, which means, for example, slated roofs with even lower edges.

Here's another place you might try. I know these guys pretty well and they are good people to deal with.

This:

so how big are those individual slates hammers?

I can't do them as whole sheets like that - mine will be individual strips that you overlap up the roof.

ah ok, i could have counted them too i suppose.

200/36 = 5.5mm aprox. That's about the same as my random width, irregular edged ones.
I'll draw some up and see about getting them cut.

Laser cut slate for roof is quite better with its nearly perfect cut from the edges of the slate. The styrene is somehow a great alternative for roofing with a slate. You can try some local companies and suppliers.

I have it so that you might be interested, but I think it's more flat as slate tile

Where's this from?

i'm sculpting one in the last 2 days.

it is a bit irregular, i have could used the laser cut, but i wanted to give a bit of irregularity on the finished product.

i took a photo just for you, i don't like to photographs the pre-masters, since the look is not the best :P

for shure it is not as precise as the previous products, but it could give a more... human touch!

the sizes are 9 x 16 cms, of course easy to cut!

if you like i can send some to you!
