Resin Field Siege Weapons
« on: June 17, 2010, 09:27:11 PM »
Hi everyone. I tried to avoid the double post, but it looks that with the architecture of this forum is impossible.

In the last week i worked on some moulds, and now i've officially started casting resin siege weapons, and much more (soon i'll post some photos of 28mm buildings on sale on warpaint.it).

THE TREBUCHET

It tooks me an unbelievelly short time to sculpt it, but i'm quite happy of the result.
it is 9x4,5 cm long.

Here is the unpainted version - with the kit you can make several different poses (charged, shooting, just shot, or waiting)

THE ONAGER

it differs from the Mangonel because in the second case there is a bow for the torsion power. This has a stressed ropes making the same work.

Not ready yet, the mould is being casted right now.
some fast shots:

of course, is someone is interested in what i cast, could send me a pm! :)
